Province-wide coverage has a defined limit. The canonical archive contains 11,181 mayor and municipal-councillor candidate/result facts from 82 machine-readable events spanning 1995 through June 2026 and 156 current or historical municipal entities. All 77 current local governments are represented. The 1986, 1989 and 1992 PDF-only reports are retained separately: 2,046 candidate-like OCR rows from 1989 and 1992 remain quarantined pending row-level review. For 1986, all 91 municipal-result table pages now have 1,379 page/section/column evidence records (1,192 with non-empty reconstructed text), but none are public result rows until candidate, office, total and elected marker reconcile.

* Vote share is the candidate’s votes divided by recorded candidate votes for the same office or ward; in a multi-seat race it is not a share of voters. Each public row retains its election-event identity, raw published municipality, source archive and exact file hashes. The 2021 election is the delayed 2020 general election. Final recount appendices supersede the machine-tabulation workbooks for 2016, 2021 and 2022, and all 76 affected canonical rows are marked. As of August 9, Elections NB had published no 2026 post-election report or recount appendix, so 2026 contested totals remain machine-tabulation figures. Non-municipal contests remain excluded. In a Beaubassin East tie, the archive follows the statutory footnote's final lot-drawing outcome and preserves the source conflict in the recount detail.
